This months edition of Cultural Xpression is a continuation of Dec 2021 Edition as we get our content organize to share with you guys. Over the next few weeks your can expect to see the release of June and July 2022 edition of CX

It has been a journey mentally to get the ball rolling again, but giving thanks for the inspiration thats coming from all angles despite the challenges we face. In this months edition we take a look at Small Islands with big Covid impacts. A very interest article published by By Kerri Coxrendell, Ernest De Kortstefan Leeffers & Mary Boyer for the www.worldbank.org

Not only has the small Caribbean Islands had it’s fair share of challenges, but also the complications that also come with natural disasters especially as we approach the hurricane season we still are faced with things like heavy impulse rain fall, droughts, floods and landslides etc. We continue to share Dr Corine Hoffmans and colleagues perspective on what A Long-Term Sustainability and Social Adaptability may mean to counteract Natural Hazards in the Lesser Antilles. The Dutch Caribbean Islands, a majority has significant infrastructure in the coastal zone, particularly related to tourism, if a global sea-level rise of 1m is predicted by the end of the twenty-first century, how do you think this will impact our livelihood and country economical progress?  Not to good i presume. So what do we plan to do about it?

Currently, even the way we continue to approach our development on the hillside will also have a negative impact on our green economy in the long run, which brings me to why we should find creative purpose within the scope of nature and allow ourselves to compliment instead insult her.

Creative Purpose is also the focus of our ECO Learning Program powered by Spaceless Gardens which aims to get people back connected to nature, find their role with in it and embrace the benefits she has to offer.

The connection with nature is one that can’t be denied while looking at what trends will shape or break our tourism product in the near future.

Don’t forget to take a look at The Health Benefit of Stinging Nettle and Creative Business Ideas in the health and business section of CX. Ya can’t run business if you ain’t healthy, and right now we need more healthy creative entrepreneurs that will develop and shape St Maarten into a place we can be proud of and the world will enjoy and embrace !

I had a great time this month as well with exchange students from all around the world including France, Turkey, Spain, Anguilla as part of the Caribbean Cultural Education Foundation which gears to connect student from all walks of like to share and embrace education and culture.. Some never even had a chance to drink Coconut water in their life time, and guest what, St Maarten provided that for them for the first time ! We have cultural potential !

So, if your looking to be inspired, seeking general health, business, agri-culture, eco tourism or culturally motivated information, continue to stop by every now and then and see whats popping in CX. There is always something for everyone as everyone needs something to keep them motivated.

Currently we are only doing digital releases due to our limited budget to get our physical print back on the road.. Interested in helping us achieve this goal? Please feel free to show your support by sponsoring one of ad spaces at the link below.
