Week 1 Eco Learning on Climate Change, Creative Purpose, Hurricane and Disaster Preparation completed.. Hats off to group ABCD as they played their part and contributed towards positive climate action by planting Balimbi, Cashew, Eucalyptus and Plantain trees..
This week also covered the importance of understanding the challenges rapid climate change will bring, while, diving into the root of the problem and how we as individuals can play our role towards utilizing regenerative farming approaches to improve a better quality life for mankind overall .
We also explored Hurricane preparedness topics such as the basic essential needs, safety, sustainable infrastructure, how to connect with various organizations pre and post hurricane season and what and what not to do during the time of a disaster.
Considering all these factors will help ensure the above mentioned. This week we also took the opportunity prepare soil, plant a few trees for succession such as bilimbi, cashew and Plantain while also making adjustments for the following week. This upcoming week, Seed Germination, let’s see what we go plant….
