IS VIOLENCE THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY OUT OUR YOUTHS WILL HAVE ?

IS VIOLENCE THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY OUT OUR YOUTHS WILL HAVE ?

Great Job Rene Wilson and Andre Bosman continue to be the voice of the poor people of this country and the NA.

Hoping on your next trip that you’ll get a chance to visit the garden once again to hear our plans toward making agriculture a sustainable practice for country St Maarten.

I know this trip would be a hectic one for you guys having to deal with the over all agenda. So i understand.

I Got a visit from Chair Lady @ Sara Wescott few weeks ago before you guys arrived as she heard the members of IPKO would visit the garden, was her first visit and sure will be the last. I guest she just needed to be able to say that she did visit and saw the place. This usually happens when meetings like this have to take place, so prepping is neccessary !

A visit to the garden without backing up your people while understanding what they go through is just the way politicians here continue to play the ball game.

My only wish is that before you guys return is to have government finalize the DUMP ISSUE and the DOCUMENTATION THAT RESIDES THE A ST MAARTEN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER.

Its been to long we as dutch locals and community members have to suffer at the hands of those in power. Minister of VROMI Mr Gitterson promised these documents would be finalized in the Jan 2019 during our meeting with the Prime minister on Nov 2, 2018.

I have not been saying much as I am trying to keep things positive , but the mental strain I have to endure on a daily basis wondering when the fight for doing something good for this country will be over, is something i have truly gotten depressed, fed up and disgusted over. I am truly tired and just want to get my life back together. All i wish is for the games to be over and government get back to doing what is right for the country. Allot of people still homeless, still jobless and still not trying to give up hope.

As poverty begins to rise, crime will also rise, many of us still have yet the aftermath of Irma to face and some just want it to be over !

We just lost a little child today because of the ignorance of our youth. This is because we fail to focus on the more important things and leave nothing behind for our children to look forward to, embrace, be influenced by or shown love, besides the hommies, the street and violence !

Is this what children are destined for ? I have to ask because when you do things to help stimulate their minds, we also get a fight down and our mind and dreams are shattered and left to lead us right back to the streets.

Fortunately some of us are strong enough not to let it over come us, but sadly some of us can’t. Thats just the balance of life ! So instead of government taking the blame we will ruin the life of also yet another young man!

Where is the juvenile detention center ?
Where is the youth rehabilitation center ?
What will become of St Maarten’s children of tomorrow ?
Where are the opportunities for the youth ?

The gardening program at the Juvenile Center in Cay Bay never came to reality, Why? They say no, money, but i say politics !

I for one just want it to be over! So i am trying to play my part because this could also have been my child !

I truly would just like the IPKO members to ask government to finalize the documentation for the land thats being occupy to develop the St Maarten Agricultural Research and Development Center so we can start to focus on programs in our community that will help keep youths motivated, off the streets and have something to look forward to ! We may not be able to change everyone! But changing some is a great start !

My condolences to the family that lost their little child today! This happen in our community St Peters ! Last month a shooting that left a young man paralyzed in our community! What next ?

As Mr Andre Bosman explained there are many opportunities available for us here in St Maarten if government just does the right thing ! So what is the government waiting for ?

The time for change is now !
