15 Kilos of Callaloo and 8 Kilos of Basil harvested for the beginning of the year at St Peters Community Garden

On January 8 2016, we got a order to harvest Callaloo and Basil. The order was for 12 Kilos (25lbs) of Callaloo and 6 Kilos (13 lbs) of Basil. Our first harvest for the year came with great rewards in total we harvested 15 kilos of Callaloo and 8 kilos of Basil. After weighing and cleaning the products from dirt and unwanted minor pest like spiders and minor bugs you would find in outdoor crops, we were finally off to deliver the products to the valued costumer. What wasn’t sold that day was stored to prepare food for us at the farm \ home the next day and some given to members of the community close by…
