Today’s harvest and Community Garden visitor
Today was bless day, we harvested, 8 kilo of Sorrel, 2 Kilo Tomatoes, 15 heads of Bak Choy and 3 Squash. Was also great to see the buying and spending power of the community. I set up a lil tray and decide to take a lil walk to my house with intention to sell the Bak Choy the the Chinese at the Super Market cause they always ask me for some to cook.. I decided to visit a few neighbors on my way home, imagine before i got home all the produce on the tray was gone and all i was left with was the sorrel and some Ong Choy ( Chinese Water Spanich ). It was truly a joy to see everyone i approached on the way home enjoyed buying some fresh organic green and fruit, they even got extra or a lil bit of something they didn’t buy. To see the joy on their face was priceless, something money could’t buy.
