Medicinal Plants That Aren’t Genetically Modified

If It Isn’t Broke, Don’t “Fix” It

It’s interesting how effective a naturalistic approach can be. The best solution to health is proper diet and exercise. And many of the best medicines are naturally derived. If you’ve got something that is working, but not quite at the level you’d prefer, sometimes trying to fix it will actually end up making it worse than it was—though this may not seem like the case initially.

This seems to be the case in terms of GMOs, or Genetically Modified Organisms. Traditional fruits and vegetables weren’t “broke”, but they were susceptible to certain pests. Additionally, many scientists wanted to combine aspects of plants to see what the ultimate result might be; like an apple-pear, or an orange-raspberry, or a grape-melon, or something of the kind.

While much of this experimentation has gone well, the truth is there are negative things associated with GMOs, and there just hasn’t been enough time to see the long-term effects of these products on people generationally.

But what has been seen to generationally help people are certain herbs, spices, fruits, and vegetables; and many of these have been known for thousands of years, while some are just being discovered. As a matter of fact, there are a vast number of plants which have been discovered that are conducive to medicine. In the last year alone, over 1,700 plants were discovered.

Natural Medicinal Plants
