Oct 2019 was a very inspiring month as I got to spread the awareness and importance of agriculture to my fellow men, women and this time also including Parliament. Although this meeting had to take place in May 2019 earlier this year was still grateful it came around in Oct 2019 just in time for the new upcoming elections. The meeting was called by MP Rolando Brison based on our request earlier this year to request for government to subsidize the Agricultural Research and Development Centers efforts for country St Maarten.
Perhaps its just politics to gain recognition for giving Agriculture the platform to voice its direction to the general public, but nevertheless , we were able to make a strong presentation with hopes that this time around it may not fall on deaf ears. A follow up meeting was set for Nov 5, 2019 where I would have to answer all the questions asked by our MP’S. Will share more on this topic on Nov 2019 edition. In the mean time, let’s keep it growing…
