In this months edition of Cultural Xpression News-magazine, Would like to express our sincere condolences to the Friends and Family of the late Roland Bryson aka Pa Ben.
St Maarten has lost an icon, one that will be very much hard to replace. This is because Mr Bryson did not only play an amazing role but is was as if he truly had this old-timer spirit dwelling inside, a great actor from the Cole Bay Theater days .
On his personal facebook page you can see that, even though he had his regular picture up he always remained in the great character we know as ”Mi Pa Ben”. I have been trying to find a BIO of him over the internet to share to the world but, sadly there is none to be found. Perhaps his legacy ended before time before he got to document his life journey. This give us all an opportunity to share what we know about him to compile his legacy.
With this in mind i will look forward to contacting Mr Clara Reyes head of the Culture Dept. to see how we may be able to put together a great Bio of our local Icon Pa Ben.
