THE ST PETERS BACK YARD GARDEN PROJECT

It’s amazing what can be done in your back yard with a little bit of research, patients and love. In this project Ras Tafari and Ras Jah dub decided to worked on a gardening project in the spaceless environment of their yard. Never the less no matter the space we were able to produce for self consumption, corn peppers, Basil, rosemary and parsley. On the way for self consumption, we have Pumpkin, Spanish, eggplant, tomatoes, celery, South American Purple Corn, Broccoli, Mint, Papaya and kail. Look forward on working on an Aqua-ponics Project next while we still continue to display progress in organic farming. This process the last two and a half months was quite a learning experience, from atmosphere and environment , plant diseases, organic pesticides, organic plant food supplements, growing and harvesting, we must say it was a time well spent with a never ending learning process.

We hope this was very inspiring to others with hopes that we all start to take agriculture here on the island seriously. For any additional information on how you can get started on your back yard garden ( for self consumption or to create a revenue ) with assistance from us at spacelessgardens, feel free to send an email to: stmaartenagriculture@gmail.com with your request or concerns and we will gladly respond to you as soon as possible. 1. I’m loving these pictures which are serving all kinds of inspiration!
When next on island, could we please come visit and see what ideas we could use to adapt to our rocky, sandy, tilted soil?

Thanks so much and be well.
